TODAY’S CHUCKLE

Anthill Golf

Once there was a golfer whose drive landed on an anthill, and rather than move the ball, he decided to hit it where it lay.
He gave a mighty swing, with clouds of dirt, sand and ants exploding from the spot. He hit everything but the golf ball - it had not moved.

So he lined up and tried another shot, with clouds of dirt, sand and ants flying again. The golf ball didn't even wiggle.

Two ants survived. One dazed ant said to the other, "Whoa! What are we going to do?"

The other ant said: "Brother, I don't know about you, but I'm going to get on top of the golf ball."

Pastor’s “Golden Nugget”

Circle of Life

Remember this – “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!” Knowledge brings light into darkness. So, you don’t have to be in the dark concerning your life and the process of it.

In 1 Corinthians 10:17, Paul said that though we are many different people in the body of Christ, we are all part of one bread. And Jesus showed us the process of life with the bread in the Scriptures (Matthew 26:26).
Don’t forget the four steps in the “Circle of Life:” First, Jesus took the bread; second, He blessed the bread; third, He broke the bread; and, fourth He gave the bread; and as goes the bread, so goes our life in the hand of the Father.

He takes us; He blesses us; He breaks us; and, He gives us. So, if you remember the process, you’ll not get discouraged in it.

Remember, He TAKES us, He BLESSES us, He BREAKS us, and He GIVES us! All of these, He does at a higher level and a deeper degree each time. So knowledge of the process shows the next step. Where are you in the process? Recognize it and you’ll know what’s coming next.

EVENTS – EVENTS - EVENTS”

“Graduation Ceremonies” will be held for our Bible Training School, Revelation Message Bible College, & Jacksonville Theological Seminary graduates at 7PM on July 25th. Come and cheer on our 2010 graduates – they put in a LOT of midnight oil to earn their certificate and/or degree and deserve our support and recognition!

Our “White Water Rafting” trip is now closed. However, if you missed the cut-off date and would like to go, please see our Church Administrator (Mr John Weisner) and he will check to see if we can get you in with our group.
