For Feb 2010, we have served 19 people with 560 lbs of food.
Since inception, our food pantry has helped over 9,567 people with over 228,810 lbs of food.

"Reading Glasses"
I took my 5-year-old grandson to the optometrist to pick up his new glasses. The glasses were prescribed "to help him read and be able to see the computer better".
When we got back home, he got on the computer to play a game. In a few minutes he called me and said there was something wrong with his glasses.
I asked him what was the problem and he said, "I still can't read."
Leadership Class

The next class will be on Tuesday, Feb 9th at 7PM in the Sanctuary. Come and be a part of serving the current and future church members and visitors. Remember, if you have a heart for leadership, anyone can join in at any time. For more information, contact Pastor Harry at 643-1260. NOTE: Pastor Harry has requested (not required) that all current and future leaders attend the next Bible Training Center class – “Blood Covenant,” which begins on Feb 15th. His reasoning is that the knowledge of “Covenant” strengthens the core of everything, especially “vision.” God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. (Hebrews 6:10 NIV)
To All Parents
We place a great deal of emphasis on “Praise & Worship” because it is a powerful part of ministry and God said that He “inhabits the praises of His people.” Therefore, we feel that everyone, including your children and your children’s teachers should be a part of the opportunity in receiving from the Lord. So, if you have a child, ages 6-12, we feel it would be very beneficial (spiritually) for them to stay in the main sanctuary until after Praise & Worship. Following Praise & Worship, they will be dismissed to their respective classroom.

“Inside-Outside” Life
Your “outside” living is just a reflection of your “inside” life, with “inside” meaning your Spirit-man. So, you can tell who you are by what you do - “as in an ongoing basis - your everyday way of living.”
That’s why the Potter, after you become a new creature, places you so gently on the wheel and He begins to mold you from the “inside
out.” Fashioning you on the “inside” so you can reflect on the “outside” His plan and purpose for your life and the good of others.
So, if you want to know who you really are, just take a look at your “outside” life, and then you will know if the Potter has had His hand on your “inside” life.
I trust He has, but if He hasn’t, let this be the day He does. (Matt 23:25-28, KJV)

The “Get-Up” Seniors

On Saturday, February 13th (1PM-3PM), the “get up” and “get out” group of the “50 and over” crowd will meet in the Family Life Center for some fun, food, and fellowship.
